make-parent.sh

make-parent.sh is a Bash script which takes as input two or more message/rfc822 (email) files, and makes the first one be the parent to each of the others. I wrote it to be used with Claws Mail on Linux, though there is nothing inherently restricting its use to that context.

make-parent.sh can be used as a Claws Mail action. The script path in the invocation is followed by %F. To run make-parent.sh, select two or more e-mails (the first one selected will become the parent to the others), and run the action.
